Reporting to the CRO, the Director of Marketing is responsible for the building, coordination and execution of integrated marketing platforms, including our lead nurture system, digital commerce site, and wide-scale lead generation and brand awareness campaigns. The Director of Marketing at RockBox Fitness will have technical skills and be able to oversee a team responsible for management of websites, marketing automation, search engine optimization, PPC, high volume paid social media advertising, analytics and other marketing tactics as appropriate. In addition, the Director of Marketing will offer strategic direction to executive leadership on brand direction, media choices, and investment rates.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop a multi-faceted marketing plan to drive business into franchisee locations, grow the brand, and accelerate conversions
- Lead a team responsible for data-driven campaigns including website optimization, content creation, marketing automation, search engine optimization, PPC, paid social media ads, analytics, geo-targeted campaigns and other tactics as appropriate.
- Report marketing program results and detailed performance analytics to executive leadership.
- Identify trends within company data to ensure campaigns are focused on the most effective and successful tactics and approach to drive new business
- Oversee the advancement and improvement of our proprietary lead nurture system
- Collaborate with the marketing team and the operations team to provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders to increase the efficiency and effectiveness in achieving business goals
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest industry trends regarding digital and traditional marketing media and implement those trends to gain a competitive advantage for RockBox Fitness.
- Bring expertise to the marketing team regarding landing page design, conversion tactics, A/B testing, and marketing and branding tactics which increase lead flow.
- Ability to analyze, segment and leverage a lead database
- Manage complex timelines and lead a high-performance team

Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Four or more years of integrated digital marketing experience with at least one year of management experience leading a team
- Demonstrated success in marketing automation, campaign management, direct response marketing, database marketing and paid social media
- Experience with marketing automation software including Clickfunnels, landing pages, auto-responders, and CRM systems
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple digital marketing resources in a complex, ever-changing environment
- Ability to communicate goals and measure and monitor team performance
- Knowledge of email privacy laws and email best practices
- Ability and think strategically and act/implement tactically. This is a hands-on position with the need to see the business at a 30,000 foot level
- Competency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with content management systems (Word Press preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Project management skills
This candidate must be local or willing to relocate to Huntersville, NC. This position will not be remote.
