Summary/Objective:

Responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of all mammography center operations to provide high quality service in the most cost effective manner. Ensures services at each mammography center are operating at levels which meet or exceed customers’ needs as compared to established industry benchmarks. Plans and directs initiatives which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position in mammography.

Essential Functions

  • Evaluates and analyzes customer/market data on customer demographics, preferences, needs and trends to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demands.

  • Provides strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout mammography imaging.

  • Leads or actively participates in program developments while incorporating company culture into practice.

  • Aligns with other Envision managers, process partners, patients and vendors to ensure the seamless delivery of mammography services.

  • Stays abreast of the latest developments, best practices and trends in mammography.

  • Helps set strategic direction for company-wide plan for women’s imaging.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Five years of health care management experience; seven years preferred

  • Five years of imaging experience, preferred

  • Proven experience in examining and improving operations and procedures

  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player

  • Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), presentation, facilitation, project management and influencing skills

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high performance environment

  • Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation

  • Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required

  • Master’s degree, preferred
