OBJECTIVES: Manage and perform financial analysis and cash management for the Company Board of Directors in order to increase the internal rate of return, gross margin and return multiple on each land development and homebuilding project. Determine future cash requirements and ensure adequate sources and uses. Provide recommendations to the Board for changes in the business resulting in increased corporate profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Analysis:

1. Take full-charge of monthly operating cash flow projections for all entities with historical accuracy on a one-month, three-month, one-year and three-year forward projecting basis.

2. Prepare financial reports for monthly board meetings.

3. Prepare monthly analysis of actual vs. budget profitability in comparison to the original proformas highlighting changes in IRR and Gross Margin.

4. Make recommendations to the Board for changes resulting in increased profitability.

5. Update the project cash flows for actual results and future cost and revenue projections.

6. Develop proformas or cash flow projections for both residential and commercial projects.

7. Update various marketing reports and charts.

8. Update quarterly projected income statements for tax purposes and determine tax payments.

9. Project cash requirements and help find equity and debt sources.

10. Prepare all excel based reports requested by equity partners and lenders.

11. Prepare all monthly reporting for HUD 231 and 221d4 programs.

12. Make analyses of financing options for capital investments. Secure and implement the financing.

13. Access the data necessary from the Timberline software as necessary to produce the above reports.

Financial Management:

1. Analyze ROI for company projects and proposed projects, and recommend possible improvements.

2. Determine appropriate ratios for monitoring businesses and provide quarterly updates.

3. Evaluate each sector of business operation and analyze financial aspects to achieve greatest efficiency of use of cash. Continually challenge current procedures of controlling costs and recommend improvements in all areas.

4. Prepare and implement annual budgets for all divisions and report on variances to management.

5. Complete various additional assignments requested by owners.

6. Assist accounting with optimization of processes and custom reporting to increase efficiency of financial and accounting especially in relation to repeated spreadsheet reporting.

7. Prepare year-end Annual Reports for the consolidated Wormald group, Wormald Development Company, The Wormald Companies and Wormald Homes.

8. Provide required reporting documents to lenders and equity sources.
