Director of Culinary Services

Seaside Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 192-bed skilled nursing center located in Daytona Beach, Florida. We are looking for a Director of Culinary Services to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Culinary Department in accordance with current federal, state, local and Center standards, and as may be directed by the Administrator; ensure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Culinary Department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be a Registered/Licensed Dietitian, CDM or ACF in good standing with all applicable federal and state requirements;

* must be ServSafe certified or credentialed;

* must follow all local and state guidelines;

* work with Administrator/consultants in planning dietary operations;

* food service management experience preferred;

* conduct regular rounds of food service;

* understands the department budget;

* supervisory and leadership qualities;

* must be capable of maintaining regularly scheduled attendance;

* and must be able to work weekends and holidays as directed by the Administrator.
