Director, IT Infrastructure

The Director will take a lead technical role in developing and overseeing the smooth operation of technology managed by the Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure department:

• Develop and manage application portfolios and solutions for Network, Wi-Fi, Telecommunications, Helpdesk, and Security teams.
• Collaborate in the planning, directing and support of infrastructure solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. Work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization
• Support VP of Infrastructure in formulating and deploying long-term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective infrastructure and communication technologies.
• Management of infrastructure operations and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning and execution.
• Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of IT infrastructure and systems
• Manage day to day operations in Azure based datacenter(s)
• Support VP of Infrastructure in the development and implementation of infrastructure policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats and work to implement cutting edge security solutions and policies.
• Manage and mentor small team of Infrastructure Engineers
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 7 (seven) years’ experience working with IT infrastructure required.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning and development, project management, and policy development
• Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards, including experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management
• Experience with operations in Azure and or AWS.
• Experience with Citrix XenApp\Desktop
• Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems
• Superior understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct research into IT issues and products.
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Salary: $100,823.00 to $120,000.00 /year
