The Sr. Director, Employer Branding will design and implement innovative HR marketing strategies to engage our employees as well as candidates for the Design & Consulting Services – Americas (DCSA) and Building Construction (BC) businesses. In addition to creating and delivering a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP), the leader will develop strategy and drive branding, marketing, and communications for the highest priority talent programs including: employee engagement, inclusion and diversity (I+D), career development, talent acquisition and university relations initiatives with a goal of differentiating us as an employer of choice. This position will report to the SVP, HR.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Establish a new function of employer branding within the business units, including developing funding requests and aligning external partners.
- In collaboration with the business, HR and Communications, define the employee experience and cultural brand for DCSA and BC — an identity that embeds our AECOM vision, purpose, values, benefits, perks and rewards.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop and activate a recruitment brand. Captivate diverse prospective candidates using clear and attractive job postings and engaging content on channels like AECOM careers page and social media websites.
- In partnership with the Communications function, develop and execute DCSA and BC internal org communications, and manage relevant HR content on intranet that reflects the employee experience and cultural brand.
- Collaborate on employee onboarding process, ensuring content aligns to the brand and inspires new hires to make this their home.
- Support HR SVP storytelling that promotes a positive employee experience and culture.
- Professionalize the HR function through branded templates and communications training.
- Measure impact of employer brand messaging on culture, engagement, and talent initiatives.
- Represent the organization as a speaker/thought leader at external/community events as well as internal programs, to inspire and build employer brand reputation.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree + 12 years of related experience

+ Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment and to collaborate across lines of business and functions.

+ Experience assembling ROI focused business cases in support of investment requests.
+ Experience driving the implementation of strategic HR programs.
+ Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
+ Must have excellent communication skills.
