AIRLINE CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE
If you have a passion for airports and know what makes them tick…we want to talk with you.
You may not know us but we’ve been quietly helping clients in the commercial aviation business for 30 years. AvAirPros is a privately-held, employee-owned consulting and services firm and we have an interesting, exciting, and challenging position working at MCI as an Owner’s Representative, dealing directly with both airport operator and airlines.
What you’ll work on:
As the Airline Construction Representative (ACR) for our Airline Technical Representative (ATR) project office in Kansas City you’ll be in a highly visible and vital role supporting a broad range of airport, airline strategic and operational decisions as the City undertakes a Terminal Modernization Program (TMP) to construct new terminal facilities. As the ACR you will manage and coordinate complex aviation-related projects through all phases of programming, planning, design, and construction. Critical to your success is a rigorous, skillful focus on analysis and the ability to convey that information to our clients.
As the ACR you’ll focus on the Airside and Landside development elements in addition to overall coordination and representation responsibilities. You will report to one of three voting members of the Project Management Committee, which reviews all program issues and makes recommendations to the Steering Committee for resolution. As the ACR it is expected that you will distill a broad range of information into meaningful, accurate presentable material, and to clearly communicate the implications of quantitative and qualitative analysis to both airport and airline management and stakeholders. The position will provide you with a broad range of opportunities to utilize your knowledge and skills. You can expect to work in office settings, on construction sites, and throughout bustling terminals. Experience working in commercial aviation required…please and thank you.
