THE JOB…Primary responsibility is providing project management services and continue to grow your professional knowledge and understanding of commercial general contracting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must self-direct activities, effectively set priorities, efficient and organized.
- Assist in receiving, evaluating, and executing customers’ projects (planning thoroughly, proactively communicating, setting expectations and encouraging a win-win attitude).
- Creating baseline schedules using scheduling monitoring tools, encouraging the project team and vendors to get ahead of the schedule.
- Develop and execute the preparation of significant project change estimates including change orders and construction claims.
- Develop and maintain Sub/Vendor relationships.
- Develop and Maintain cost history on different types of projects.
- Solicit and maintain communication with subcontractors and vendors.
- Assist in preparing customer bid packages.
- Review bid requirements thoroughly.
- Develop RFI’s and clarifications, receive/transmit project required submittals.
- Participate in value engineering exercises.
- Review drawings with estimating team and highlight areas of concern.
- Be a steward of the company safety circle; See It, Say It, Check It, Fix It.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of project management experience for small and large projects.
- Knowledge of project management software, engineering principles, and construction principles.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work well within a deadline-driven environment.
- Perform functions efficiently and accurately with little direct supervision.
- Must maintain a professional attitude and conduct oneself in a positive manner at all times.
- Must respect and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, changing environment.
