Splunk’s Cloud business is continuing to grow rapidly, and we are looking for a top-notch team member to help ensure its success. Candidates should have a measurable track record in project management, especially around enabling the sales and adoption of SaaS solutions. Experience in transforming the way a salesforce sells is especially valuable for this role The Autobahn Project Manager will play a key role leading the salesforce to take a ‘Cloud First’ mentality to selling Splunk’s solutions in a way that results in continued growth and equally importantly, customer success and good business for Splunk overall.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that proper steps of Autobahn POV process are followed by account teams and other parties.
  • Project manage & facilitate other initiatives such as new lane development and coordinating with other cross functional organizations including Specialists, Cloud Ops, Vertical teams, Sales Engineers and others.
  • Prepare and help deliver regular education sessions to the sales teams that will make it natural for them to leverage the Autobahn POV process in a ways that accelerates sales cycles, deal sizes, customer success and ensures good business.
  • Responsible for Autobahn reporting, tracking metrics, and building Salesforce dashboards
  • Manages process with Enablement team to provide updated content and changes to the Sales Enablement portal.
  • Communicate to leadership observations from the Field that may help change or adjust overall program Participate in business and strategy planning meetings with overall Splunk Cloud Sales team.
  • Identify obstacles in the current Autobahn process and lead programs to remove them.
  • Comfortable working as part of a Global team where the common language is English.


Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce (reporting and dashboard development) proficiency
  • Familiarity with SaaS and ideally Splunk Cloud and the Autobahn program
  • Experience working with sales teams and helping them new and different skills and programs.
  • Ideally experience working for a legacy software that transitioned into a SaaS provider.
  • Strong English language skills as well as exceptional interpersonal, written and presentation skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
  • Relevant software industry experience in any of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics.
