The Application Engineer / Inside Sales person is responsible for both the direct support of outside sales people, representatives and customers but also assist in the planning, executing, and completion of projects.

· Project manage jobs after the sale to communicate timelines and documentation to customer and release internal communication to production to maintain schedule and specifications.

· Prepare technical proposals based on customer needs.

· Manage resources such as outside vendors to keep projects on budget and on time.

· Professionally interact with customer.

· Technical Degree (BA/BS/BEng); mechanical engineering background a plus,

· Project Management Experience, > 3 years is preferred, with excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively lead and organize engineering teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

· Detailed knowledge of turbomachinery, accessory systems, and related technologies and services a plus.

· Goal oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, with ability to drive success, with strong winning spirit and ability to motivate teams,

· Excellent creativity, problem solving, and decision-making skills – including an understanding of when to escalate both technical and administrative decisions, Aptitude and desire to quickly learn.

· Excellent time management skills, Ability and drive to continuously improve and eliminate unnecessary barriers or complexity to meeting customer needs,

· Must be fluent in English language. Prefer bilingual in Spanish.

· High Level of technical aptitude and attention to detail

· Ability to understand technical drawings and written specifications

· Must be an effective planner and organizer capable of making quick decisions when necessary

· Must have good oral and written communication skills

· Working knowledge of Microsoft systems and software

· Familiarity with complex machinery with control systems or rotating equipment is preferred.

· Prepare proposals for aftermarket opportunities such as parts, overhauls, field service and upgrades to equipment and control systems
