The Vice President of Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives is responsible to support the strategic plan and execution of Foot Locker’s Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives. This individual will report to SVP, Global Supply Chain. This individual will oversee the planning, coordination and budgeting of all Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives across 27 countries in North America, Europe and Australia under the brand names Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Footaction, Champs Sports, SIX:02, Eastbay, Runners Point and Sidestep. Lead strategy development and initiatives to drive supply chain capabilities, transformation, and innovation including network of the future, omnichannel convenience, end-to-end flow improvements, and digital/technology capabilities. This individual is also responsible to attract, retain and develop talent to grow and build a high performing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives
- Lead strategy development and initiatives to drive supply chain capabilities, transformation, and innovation including network of the future, omnichannel convenience, end-to-end flow improvements, and digital/technology capabilities.
- Lead global continuous improvement team and initiatives to drive customer experience, productivity, safety, engagement, and standardization improvements across the supply chain.
- Responsible for building business cases, prioritization, and execution of $35-40M in annual capital expenditures.
- Successful startup of new distribution center operations including project timelines and vendor selection and management.
- Strong cross-functional working relationships with Planning and Allocation, Information Technology, Store Operations, Real Estate, Procurement and Human Resources.
- Improve and develop organization/talent to drive significant global agenda.
Overall Functional Leadership:
- Effectively manage a team of 25+ team members across the globe, leveraging their talent, skills and abilities to drive department strategies and develop future leaders for the organization.
- Acts as liaison for the Corporation, divisions and outside parties.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required and higher preferred in Supply Chain Management or some related field.
- Demonstrated omni-channel supply chain success with company that has gone through a similar transformation.
- Experience with significant capital expenditure and cross-functional change management programs.
- Experience with DC startups and new technology (WMS, OMS, TMS) implementations.
- Continuous improvement/Lean Six Sigma experience and/or certifications.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and influence key leaders in order to drive development strategy.
- Ability to effectively manage both internal and external vendor/contractor/consultant relationships.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a results-oriented and deadline driven environment.
- Data oriented with proven ability to analyze, interpret and synthesize data, making recommendations to drive business decisions.
- Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Experience in both domestic & global markets.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
