Are you an experienced HVAC or Refrigeration field technician that is looking for an opportunity to utilize that experience out of the field? Possibly looking to get away from the day to day field duties while staying in touch with that aspect of the HVAC/R business? Well A-1 Services, Inc is looking for exactly that.

We are looking for someone that has field experience in HVAC and Refrigeration service business that can talk to customers about incoming service requests, debrief and troubleshoot with technicians on service calls and dispatch technicians based on priority.

The ideal candidate has a knowledge of HVAC/R equipment through service experience but also has the ability to talk to customers and handle in coming service requests. This position requires both strong verbal and written communications. You will work directly with technicians and the owner to help determine best course of action on all repair and service issues.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes any reports or logs
  • Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed
  • Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Follows all safety and security procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures
  • Coordinates with other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently
  • Responds to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns


QUALIFICATIONS

  • HVAC certification
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the company
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in supervising and managing staff
  • Three to five years of progressive and relevant experience
  • Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
  • Able to manage workload and prioritize multiple projects
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong data entry and management skills
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Safety and customer service oriented
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, which may include working days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Available for emergency on-call 24/7
  • Basic computer and internet skills
