Proto Homes is an innovative prefab construction technology company headquartered near downtown Los Angeles.

We are seeking a Project Manager to handle a wide range of responsibilities and oversee portions of the design, manufacturing, and construction process for single family home and multifamily projects.

Responsibilities

Establish strong relationship with clients and act as primary company contact
Manage and coordinate all necessary project resources and documentation
Maintain internal project tracking resources to keep project on budget and schedule
Accurately draft new purchase agreements and contract amendments
Schedule invoices to maintain projected cash flow throughout the project
Communicate proactively regarding projects to appropriate internal and external contacts
Improve and enforce policies and procedures across the process workflow
Maintain records both physical files and digital records in CRM system and project databases
Negotiate with clients regarding contract details and project modifications
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documents and client approvals
Prioritize projects and provide subsequent guidance to studio and factory teams
Proactively identify problems and develop solutions and communicate as necessary
Meet with clients and update them on designs, requirements and work status

Qualifications

Demonstrated track record of success related to management of real estate projects in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Thrives on problem solving
Systems thinker that works well independently
Adept at prioritizing tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and client interface skills, both verbal and written
Extremely well organized with ability to manage the moving parts for multiple projects simultaneously
Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to persevere in an environment of constant change
Acts with sense of urgency
Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, CRM systems, and project management tools

Details

Office hours are M-F from 8am to 5pm

Compensation: Base salary depends on experience and skill set; discretionary annual bonus

Experience: 7+ years project management experience within the home building, construction, or real estate industry.

Education: College degree required; degree in construction management, business management, engineering, architecture, or comparable professional license preferred

Salary: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year
