SUMMARY OF POSITION
The IT Project Manager position takes ownership of projects from theory through completion. From initial client request for project, through multiple phases of execution. The Project Manager will be working with a team of engineers to organize client meetings, consult on hardware needs, keep tasks completed in a timely manner and organize overview of project for internal or client review. Strategic thinking, a consultantâs mindset, and the highest level of customer care should be at the forefront of our Project Managerâs mind. The ideal candidate to fill this role is a fast learner who strives in a fast-paced environment and has the desire to learn the ins and outs of operations in the IT industry.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform a variety of highly skilled duties to complete projects such as, organizing, coordinating and managing task deadlines
- Lead process of issue identification and resolution associated with complex business transitions or changes to process or IT Infrastructure.
- Provide skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel.
- Report to stakeholders progress of projects and respond to inquiries about projects.
- Establish and maintain liaison as required with any departments, clients or vendors associate with the project.
- Assist in developing IT based plans, goals, objectives.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of the defined solutions.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in overall project management by prioritizing, planning and tracking project progress.
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project expectations.
- Researches options to increase efficiency and provides analysis for direction.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in a Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
- 4 to 7 years of project management experience, preferably in the IT industry.
- Ability to multitask
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
- Strong communication skills including outstanding interpersonal skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Knowledge of IT systems and project management
- Excellent time management, follow through and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
Travel:
- 15-20% travel may be required
