Mastery Logistics Systems is reimagining the technology that moves goods from one place to another. We are building an intuitive, efficient, comprehensive solution that brings cutting edge technology, the power of data and AI, and user experience to the forefront. For those that know the jargon and the logistics industry, we are building the next generation of technologies to allow large brokers, 3PL’s, and shippers to benefit from the progress of technology and connectivity. Our initial offering – a TMS built for freight brokerages – targets large, distributed brokerages and 3PL’s, with follow-on shipper TMS available in the future. If you don’t know the industry (yet!), that’s cool – we want your voice and perspective to help us break out of established patterns and truly innovate.
The problems in this industry are big and exciting! There’s also a lot of low hanging fruit where other industries and types of applications have found solid solutions. We are tackling everything from fast and efficient data input (Natural Language Processing? Voice? Better forms?) to ingesting large amounts of data and applying AI to looking at blockchain to securely digitize paperwork. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with customers from project inception through the go-live implementation; discovery activities, gap-analysis, statement of work, client support & app training
- Represent the Mastery brand & values during all client interactions
- Create, continuously modify, and deliver project plans that reflect actions required for project success
- Prepare documentation for customers and project members, including project stakeholders
- Identify, communicate and mitigate project issues and risk for multiple active assignments simultaneously
- Drive the resolution of issues through problem solving, identification of necessary resources, and escalation
- Collaborate with software development for remediation of software defects and communication of development milestones for active projects
Requirements
- Enterprise software project management experience required
- Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, CSM, etc)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to learn all facets of the logistics industry and Mastery software functionality
- Strong detail orientation, organization, and time management abilities
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time

- Experience with leading Digital Adoption Platforms
- Experience with leading Project Management Platforms (Beynd, Workfront, Microsoft Project Server)
