Finance Director

Our custmer, a world leading manufacturer in the home appliances field is looking to hire a new finance director.

The Finance Director for the US will partner with the VP of Finance, Americas and the US leadership team to drive profitability for the region through analysis, reporting and financial guidance on key business decisions. They will continue to build a world class finance team to ensure that the US market is able to continue our business growth and achieve our ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyze financial data for areas of responsibility, including variance analysis to budget and prior year
• Assist in various ad hoc financial analysis, financial systems and process improvements, and special projects
• Prepare annual budget for designated areas, including inputs on overall process
• Review of financials compared to operating budgets and identify trends affecting business performance
• Identify, produce, and analyze key financial metrics (KPI’s)
• Assist with periodic financial projections through contact with business and analysis of underlying run rates
• Help maintain and improve Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase software for Enterprise by analyzing evolving business needs and software capabilities
• Evaluate and suggest improvements of all current financial processes and systems
• Provide assistance to automate processes and implement systems changes as necessary
• Help with maintenance and Enterprise-wide implementation of brokerage revenue forecasting tools (ReApps)

Skills

BS/BA required; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in finance with strong financial analysis experience and full P&L ownership
Prior experience with a technology or high end consumer products company is preferred
Strong knowledge of modeling/forecasting, business planning, budgeting, management reporting
Methodical business planning capability
Strong reputation for objectivity and seasoned business judgment
Ability to earn trust and confidence of business partners; positive attitude and strong team player
Previous experience managing multiple initiatives and changing priorities
Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization
Ability to understand and create value from data analytics to impact the business
Ability to clearly present and communicate complex data analysis
Prior leadership roles with ability to develop teams
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated previous success in a fast paced and agile environment
