You will be responsible for the execution of the strategic HR vision in partnership with field operations. Serve as strategic business partner to Chief Operations Officer and Divisional Vice Presidents. Position will lead and direct HR Manager and Business Partner activities while building and maintaining effective partnerships with field management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the execution and implementation of the overall strategy and vision for staffing, recruiting, internal development, performance management, and team member engagement.
  • Manage internal and external resources in the administration of staffing, training, and employee relations systems, policies, practices, and budgets.
  • Anticipate talent needs and create strategies that will utilize staff to build a succession plan to meet forecasted field staffing needs.
  • Analyze reports of progress against designated HR metrics and make recommendations on opportunities to increase the retention of key talent.
  • Remain current on trends in the industry and HR field; implementing new ideas to ensure the team is effectively attracting, developing and engaging top talent.
  • Responsible for acting as a consultant to influence clients and colleagues, deliver constructive advice, diagnose and resolve problems and positively influence change.
  • Responsible for all human resources responsibilities of direct and indirect reports (e.g. hiring, coaching, training, appraising, etc.).
  • Performs other duties as required.


Education and Experience:

  • 10 -12 years of progressive Field Human Resources leadership experience to include Employee Relations and Training and Recruiting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
  • PHR and/or SPHR certification.


Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of all relevant employment laws and regulations, including Wage and Hour, FLSA, Title VII, FMLA, ADA, worker’s compensation and other DOL regulations.
  • Excellent understanding of the retail environment.
  • Able to remain neutral, facts-driven.

  • Able to manage multiple confidential situations without compromise.

  • Travel required approximately 50% of time.
