Director of Financial Reporting

The Keller Group is searching for a highly-analytical Director of Financial Reporting to oversee our confidential, well known and highly respected client in Scottsdale, AZ. This position is immediately looking for local candidates only, and will not be offering relocation.

In this position, you will not only be an accomplished financial leader and proactive with company finances, but will also be commercially aware and provide advice on the best path of growth for the business and team. Your duties include establishing targets, developing budgets, and performing financial analysis, while building up and mentoring a large team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities. Your ultimate goal will be to guide the company towards profitability and success.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance minimally required
• CPA
• Minimum of 7-9 years’ of experience in similar roles with public experience
• Proven management throughout career
• Background in financial planning, strategy, acquisitions, revenue reporting
• Experience with a variety of accounting ERP platforms

Responsibilities:

• Audits, financial planning and reporting, profit planning, revenue reporting, capital plan and investment strategy.
• Internal control management
• Drive operational efficiencies
• Establish and maintain corporate accounting policies, procedures, and effective and efficient internal controls
• Ensure compliance with applicable GAAP
• Ability to find efficiencies and effective ways to manage the business
• Focus on improving profit center financial metrics through analysis of operational trends and business drivers
