SALARY:
$100,000 – $130,000

SUMMARY:

The position is responsible for supporting our operations team by leading Process Engineering and Maintenance initiatives at United Alloy, Inc. and involving lean improvements throughout the plant including manufacturing, business processes, service, and supply base. Become a key driver for business growth by collaborating with teams to improve performance against identified goals, across multiple locations.


QUALIFICATIONS
:

  • Bachelor s degree required, preferably in engineering, science, business, or a related field.
  • 8 years of manufacturing experience preferred where lean manufacturing and/or six sigma methods were incorporated.
  • Experience in work flow, materials, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing support, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Proficient in Office applications – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • 2D/3D CAD experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of business process modelling, value stream mapping, and gap analysis.
  • Effective communicator with all levels of the organization. Strong ability to mentor, motivate and persuade others.
  • Must be capable of leading and strengthening a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage the Continuous Improvement efforts through managing several teams: process engineering, robotics, and maintenance.
  • Support and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives at United Alloy, Inc. involving lean improvements throughout United Alloy, Inc. including manufacturing, business processes, service, and supply base.
  • Leads and participates in the development of United Alloy, Inc. systems and techniques including visual controls, scheduling, error proofing, 5S, set-up time reduction, preventative maintenance, and other lean system activities and techniques.
  • Mapping current and future state process designs and identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Communicates results of process design to management
  • Formulate an execution plan including the project plan, business resources needed, new process design, and key performance indicators. Lead/assist on execution of plan.
  • Apply various process improvement methods, tools, and techniques to execute scope of work.
  • Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned
