Job Description:

JD for AWS Cloud Migration role:

• We need an expert in Cloud migration.
• 12+ Years of Data Center and Infra leadership and hands on Project Management role, PMP and Scrum certification is a plus
• Who has done data center migration to Cloud, AWS (mandatory) and Azure
• Well rounded in soft skills and agile/scrum methodology
• Good experience in managing schedule, budget and quality
• Prior experience in dealing cross-functional stakeholders and elevating impediments timely fashion
• Who is tech savvy in Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure at all levels including Computing, Networking and Application.
• Worked on multiple computing technologies UNix Linux, Solaris, AiX and windows.
• Requires strong knowledge on infrastructure

• Customer uses Superdome, HP infrastructure.
• Heavy suite of oracle applications
• IBM AIX, (P series storage- latest P5) boxes are housing the data from which migration will happen. So basic know how of this infrastructure is required.
• Requires strong knowledge on dealing with and resolving networking issues, when an org goes from physical data center to cloud.
• Requires strong knowledge on dealing with security issues, blocking and resolving them while migrating from physical to cloud.
• The road-map will require a lift and shift from the existing data center so all the above aspect will be important for the success of this candidate.

Key Points:
Solid project management guy who can do Cloud Migration. Needs to have solid experience in Azure and AWS Cloud Migration from Data Center.
