Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Nice Guys Buying Houses is a real estate investment company looking for the right person to help guide our growing company in the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). We are a small company of 10 highly motivated individuals. Our team works virtually in our 2 markets of Atlanta, GA and Greenville, SC.

Some would call us “house flippers or builders” but our company believes in our culture: We take what’s old, worn out, and neglected… restore it, and prepare it for new life. Our company transforms old houses and makes them new, creating a legacy that outlives those who work in the company itself. In essence, we love leaving a legacy.

Who will be our new leader? Will it be you? We desire someone who has tasted success with larger companies or an entrepreneurial endeavor and wants to take their wisdom and breath it into a company like ours. We’re not looking for the typical Corporate American executive. The perfect person who joins us isn’t afraid to clean toilets and sweep the floors figuratively speaking. We’re looking for a selfless #2 that enjoys leading people at the highest level and isn’t afraid to get in the weeds when called to do so. This position offers a vibrant culture, with the ability to put your stamp on a growing company and its future.

The COO role reports only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of the company. You’ll be required to learn the intricacies of the single family real estate “flip” investment model and its diverse business operations in the real estate investment space. We expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader first, the real estate part of the role can be taught.

If you think you have what it takes, read on. Then come back to this paragraph and complete this 8 to 12 minute survey. If you don’t complete the survey, we will not look at your application.
