JOB SUMMARY:

Leads operations and coordinates administrative functions for facilities. Manages staff and supervisors, coordinates projects, directs staff functions and leads development of policies and procedures. Develops programs and procedures for cost containment and space assessment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for identifying needs, securing resources, and implementation of training programs.
  • Oversees compliance with all local codes and standards.
  • Ensures continuous life-cycle analysis of equipment.
  • Assists with the design and planning of new buildings and renovation of existing spaces. Advises planning and engineering staff for the purposes of quality, cost control and energy savings.
  • Participates in strategic planning and manages budget and operating expenditures.
  • Manages and develops staff efficiency, effectiveness and quality of work utilizing both work management system data and observed performance.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES:

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT (ADVANCED):– Knowledge of building infrastructure, services and systems from a technical and practical perspective, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building interior finish elements, and exterior envelope.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and 5 years relevant experience

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):


Physical Requirements/Strengths needed & Physical Demands:

  • Light Work category requiring exertion up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and uses negligible amounts of force to move objects.
