Come join our team at Amarsi Assisted Living is in search of a qualified Wellness Director for our fun and developed community. This person needs to willing and responsible for making a difference improving the wellness of our residents. Must be willing to see the rewarding aspects for success for the residents and staff.

This position requires creativity, flexibility, time management skills, and a knowledge base of the community population who may have complex medical needs. It also requires the ability to provide health services training to other employees of the community, and to oversee the medication administration program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities General management responsibilities include, but are not limited to overseeing and accepting the final accountability for the following either directly or through designated staff:

Responsible for fulfilling daily, weekly, and monthly job checklist duties and other duties as needed. Assist the Executive Director to ensure that policies, procedures, and state regulations are being followed.Conduct internal quality assurance departmental audits. Access the health conditions and needs of the residents upon move in and when a change of condition indicates assessment.In conjunction with the Executive Director, establish the appropriate level of care for Ensure the resident safety needs are met, utilizing specific assessment and evaluation tools.Ensure routine resident assessments are met on a quarterly basis.Participate in the development of the Plan of Care. Perform medication and medication cart audits as needed.Monitor the 24-hour communication and alert system for compliance; Review all physician’s transcriptions, progress notes, discharge orders, move in orders, and hospital notes.Investigate incidents and behavior changes that require a License Nurse assessment; Document all incidents and changes in the resident’s progress notes.

Required Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent or minimum education required per state, higher education preferred in a related field

A current nurse license in the state of employment.Prefer a minimum of one (1) year prior nursing experience in a Assisted Living Community or related business.

Training available for qualified candidates.
