JOB SUMMARY
Viamedia is seeking a Vice President, QTTTM to coordinate with tech development team and oversee business development, go to market rollout on Viamedia footprint and on-Viamedia footprint, vendor relationships with demand side partners for the company’s internally developed platform, QTTTM. Viamedia, on behalf of our 60+ MVPD operators nationwide and in collaboration with the leading technology partners, are focused on providing next generation advertising opportunities to our 12,000+ advertisers nationwide across any platform: TV, Digital, OTT Mobile and more.
QTTTM is new technology, developed by Viamedia that allows the digital ecosystem, using their current digital ordering platforms, to seamlessly access brand-safe premium cable TV ad avails 2 – 3 minutes per hour across all insertable cable networks.
This position will play a critical role in helping Viamedia develop and deploy QTTTM’s advanced advertising capabilities leveraging the company’s robust sales team, industry leading technology and vast data to help our customer’s be successful in a cross media environment.
Reporting into the company’s CEO or CTO (not yet determined), the right candidate will be able to articulate a compelling vision that aligns with the market opportunity, forge and build successful partnerships with internal and external resources to deliver on that vision and be accountable for execution of the vision across the country. This position will work collaboratively with a team of sales and technology leaders at Viamedia. This position will need to be a natural leader who has the ability to lead remotely and develop talent that can deliver on objectives.
ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Research and identify competitive information to determine new product features and enhance existing products to Viamedia’s suite of advanced cross screen capabilities
- Work alongside the sales and technology teams within the company, and within Viamedia vendors/partners, to execute on objectives
- Articulate and coordinate the product development workflow, including any support material creation and training necessary, and managing the budgeting process for the company’s advanced advertising products
- Negotiate and manage relationship with strategic partners on behalf of the organization
- Other duties as may be assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- MS or MA degree required
- 10+ years of previous experience in the digital/cross screen media environment, or comparable product management
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience managing a product portfolio and product roadmap
- Familiarity with the cable advertising industry or digital advertising sales
- Recent experience developing solutions for online advertising marketplaces (network, exchanges, DSP’s, SSP’s) preferred, but not mandatory
- Knowledge of MVPD technology infrastructure desired but not required
