An Extraordinary Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting leader for a newly created role that will impact future growth with our retailers. The Vice President of Retail Accounting, reporting directly to the CFO, will play a unique strategic role in our growthâ partnering across the organization to drive retailer financial success.
This position will be accountable for creating and developing processes and financial reporting tools to drive financial initiatives that ensure the profitability of retail locations. The person in this position will create and implement detailed, documented plans to achieve objectives and provide leadership over the execution of these plans.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will leverage accounting and finance expertise along with data insights in the implementation of business plans that align strategic priorities and financial growth objectives. A critical function of this role will be to establish best practices empowering stores to maximize profitability.
The successful candidate will leverage strong communication skills delivering compelling messaging across all levels of the organization and to our retail partners. This individual must be a proven financial leader with the ability and experience to navigate at the enterprise level as well as the small business level.
Build and lead a robust team.
You will be responsible for building and leading a retail focused team of financially savvy, technically sound professionals that will implement best practices, ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. The team will collaborate broadly across the organization in creating a strong competency in retail financial operations.
Qualifications
Your expertise and experience should include:
- Senior level accounting and finance leadership experience in high-end multi-unit / multi-channel retail organizations; diverse retail structure experience including license, company-owned and/or partnerships. International experience strongly preferred.
- A skillset of strong financial reporting and solid accounting principles that includes multi-state and global experience.
- A record of success within mid-sized, fast growing entrepreneurial environments; must have experience leading successful, multi-faceted teams.
- Strong people leadership competencies as well as an ability to coach, mentor and develop future leaders.
- Proficient in data-based decision making and ability to leverage BI tools to create actionable reporting; must be tech savvy.
- Strong communication skills with the strong ability to create and deliver compelling messages; experience in presenting financial information to all levels within the organization.
- A vibrant leadership style that is adaptable, courageous and reflective of high emotional intelligence.
