Vice President of Program Management

VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Work Location: Huntsville, AL or Possible Remote

This position is accountable for all aspects of Program Management for the Department of Defense and Federal Civilian Project Portfolio supported by enGenius Consulting Group, Inc. (enGenius). We are looking for an experienced professional to supervise a wide range of programs. You will be responsible for the delivery and overall success of each program.

Responsibilities

• Identify, attract, hire and retain key talent
• Leads and oversees the development of program management metrics.
• Develop policies and procedures that promote operational effectiveness, continual improvement, and best practices
• Initiate and set goals for programs according to the deliverables and strategic objectives
• Plan program execution involving deadlines, milestones and processes
• Establish clear organizational lines of authority and responsibility with team members and corporate leadership to ensure effective management of personnel assigned to the requirement
• Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
• Monitor program financial performance to the budget
• Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations
• Maintain continuity between the support operations at the Government site and the enGenius Corporate Office

Requirements:

• You must possess demonstrable skills in program execution, team building, customer relationship management, and business development
• You must have effective interpersonal, communications and negotiation skills for a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences to include internal and external stakeholders
• You must have a strategic mindset as well as the ability to lead and develop your program teams
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
• Working knowledge of MS Office and other standard software suites
• Must be Project Management Institute Certified (PMP)
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• Must be available to travel to visit customers and employees working at Customer Sites
• Ensure customer satisfaction through solid CPARS

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline; Master’s Degree Preferred
• 10 Years’ Experience managing large scale IT contracts

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience developing and supporting proposal development
• Performing Capture functions with existing customers for new business
• Prior experience with USSOCOM is desirable
