The VP of Implementation will focus on meeting the goals and objectives of both our customers and Post Acute Analytics. You will also lead the function in establishing appropriate processes and procedures to scale and enable success, both internally and externally. You will have regular exposure to senior executives at the largest health systems and payors and will have the opportunity to directly influence and enhance those customer relationships. You will serve as a subject matter expert on our customers, helping to inform our strategies on not only implementation but also sales, product development and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire portfolio of customers’ projects as the ultimate owner of successful go lives and value delivery. Ensure project is accurately and consistently communicated both internally and with customers externally.
- Develop and maintain a senior, trusted advisor relationship with executive leaders at health systems, serving as a point of escalation for project issues and requests.
- Drive consistency, best practices and quality of our solutions with an eye towards driving down cycle time and improving speed to value.
- Hire, manage, develop and evaluate the implementation team as necessary. Engage in ongoing staff development (e.g. leadership, project management training, and technical skills). Monitor and evaluate specific and general performance against yearly goals and standard measures.
- Coordinate with both Sales and Marketing to drive client adoption and expansion.
- Work cross-functionally with Product and Sales to secure resources, ensure collaboration, and inform strategy development.
- Serve as a brand ambassador when interfacing with customers and prospects; attend and actively participate in industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required, advanced degree (e.g., MD, MBA, MHA, MPH) desired.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role. This position requires a high degree of project management, consultative, business and technology transformations, and healthcare industry knowledge.
- Extensive experience in strategic management and leadership, preferably with knowledge of healthcare and information systems.
- Proven abilities in strategic planning, relationship management and change management, as well as demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
- Strong teamwork, problem solving and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to communicate across all management levels while motivating fellow employees by fostering team spirit, an attitude of cooperation and a commitment to the organization.
- Expert communicator with top-notch written and presentation skills, able to skillfully and independently relate to PAA staff as well as our customers.
- Able to conceptualize and envision the impact of change, and propose and implement new strategies to do business. Must be flexible and a proponent/champion for change.
