The Vice President of Finance reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the oversight of the QualTek Finance teams within all divisions of the Company. This position is responsible for driving financial and operational efficiencies in an exceptionally high growth environment. Primary job duties include providing leadership, financial and operational analysis and reporting, planning, risk management, preparing information for the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive operational efficiencies by initiating performance improvement programs, developing appropriate metrics and goals, developing and documenting processes, and utilizing technology
- Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the division’s operations and business plans
- Develop and execute analysis of various business initiatives (e.g., opening new operations, asset acquisition, etc.)
- Oversee and manage monthly forecast update, primarily by working closely with Operational Leaders in forecasting their project cost structure
- Manage the financial business plan and budget through collaboration with department leaders
- Analyze cash flow and ROIC metrics
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and capital investment decisions
- Interpret and synthesize data into intelligent business decisions
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis and special projects as required
- Other duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Supervisory Job Duties:
- Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the Company’s objectives, policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: planning, assigning, and directing work, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing employee concerns, and partnering with HR to resolve escalated employee matters.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Finance, Accounting, or Business; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- B.A. preferred, but not required
Experience:
- Eight to ten years of corporate finance or accounting experience
- Eight to ten years of experience in the telecommunications industry
- Five years management experience
- Proven ability to manage and direct forecasting and budgeting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- CPA preferred, but not required
Technical Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze data and present findings in a clear and concise manner

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
- Individuals must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Company requirements
- Travel up to 25% of the time, including short notice travel; travel may include local site travel or national travel depending on business needs
- Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day
- Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
