POSITION SUMMARY:

Lead the strategic enrollment function at Lexington Catholic High School.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enrollment Management

  • Lead the development, communication, implementation, and assessment of a strategic enrollment plan for attracting students with a significant focus on retention and attrition, financial sustainability, and identification of new and emerging markets.
  • Provide meaningful, measurable, and regular reporting to the President and Board of Trustees to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Implement a strategic enrollment plan to differentiate the school’s unique brand, while enhancing recruitment, retention, revenue generation, and constituent relations – all consistent with the school’s strategic goals and direction.
  • Articulate the plan’s goals, strategies, and tactics to the wider internal and external communities.
  • Support the areas of admission and financial aid, managing the school’s annual financial aid budget, and executing the deployment of the school’s financial aid resources while adhering to all regulations of the board’s financial aid policies in conjunction with the President and Director of Operations.
  • Compile and disseminate data for institutional benchmarking purposes; make data-informed decisions; report on longitudinal enrollment and financial aid trends. Must be adept at designing data- driven recruitment strategies while maintaining and analyzing admission related data including inquiries, tours, applications, yield and retention rates.
  • Advise the President, Principal, and the board on market trends to maintain the school’s relevance in a broader educational context and inform appropriate short – and long-term enrollment for each division
  • Work closely in collaboration with other team members to achieve enrollment goals; developing and enhancing valuable partnerships with external constituents
  • Lead all admission functions including campus tours, HSPT, coordinating the enrollment process with prospective families, Middle School events, and thinking strategically about the school’s recruitment efforts.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with appropriate local area partner schools and local associations (i.e. Chamber of Commerce, local libraries…)
  • Articulate Lexington Catholic’s unique mission and opportunities through public speaking appearances

Marketing

  • Ensure the consistent branding identity and mission of LCHS is communicated through all communication and marketing materials, including social media platforms. This includes public relations materials, advertising and publications that interpret the school.
  • Manage the admissions marketing budget.
  • Facilitate content, related to recruitment, for social media platforms.
  • Promote good relationships and create networking opportunities and support for representatives with outside institutions or groups that aid in attracting appropriate student population.

Administrative

  • Represent the School at various diocesan, regional, state and national associations, when appropriate.
  • Principle Designate School Official (PDSO) for international students.
  • Liaison between LCHS and Amerigo.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the President in order to achieve and accomplish the School’s mission and objectives.
  • Research and support professional development for the admissions and marketing teams.
  • Attend internal meetings as a member of the senior leadership team.
  • Effectively manage the daily operations of the admissions team.
  • Perform yearly evaluations, utilizing a professional growth tool, including goals and benchmarks for all direct reports.
  • Strategically plan for succession

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience in the essential functions of the role as listed above.

Independent school enrollment and admission or marketing experience preferred.

  • Excellent administrative, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated strategic long-range planning skills.
  • Knowledge of revenue-based enrollment management and academic assessment practices.
  • The ability to be an accessible member of a school community who connects with students, parents, faculty, and prospective families with ease and sincerity
  • Be a self-starter and possess the ability to perform each essential duty exceptionally.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, leadership, collaboration, and independent thinking.
  • Must possess strong people management skills and emotional intelligence when dealing with colleagues and families while demonstrating an understanding of an investment in the School.
  • Must be available for occasional area travel, overnight travel and work on evenings and weekends.
