- Manage multiple application development teams to ensure timely delivery of shippable product increments while maintaining a high level of quality
- Oversee daily activities of delivery teams and provide direction and guidance as needed
- Ensure that the teams maintain a high level of competence, operational excellence and morale
- Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs
- Foster a mentoring culture of continuous improvement while employing Agile methodologies
- Work with product owners in maintaining a healthy product backlog while ensuring the delivery teams perform at a consistent velocity
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Scrum Master certification (PMP-ACP certification a plus)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading multiple, cross-functional Scrum teams
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing technical teams
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing projects
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills for problem identification and solution recommendations
- Ability to be flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment for self and team
- Strong time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented while consistently looking at the big picture
