GENERAL PURPOSE

Perform a variety of routine customer account relationship functions within a given territory in support of Dealers Supply Company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Contact Customers through, but not limited to, in person, phone calls, email, mailings, fax to communicate opportunities and to extend initiatives with the company.

 Prospecting, qualifying and generating sales within our established and potential Customer Base.

o Act as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts.

o Manage a positive relationship with assigned accounts.

o Provide regular status reports and manage task lists on assigned accounts progress for all project areas.

 Provide engineering consultation and product support to consumers.

o Engage in technical discussions with established and potential customers

 Identify and close additional purchases of products and services by customers.

 Interfacing with Company senior management in the development of strategic planning, sales and marketing programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Position requires a high energy, result oriented, self-motivated person with the ability to gain territory market share with an immediate sense of urgency and accomplishment.

 College degree preferred and one (1) year relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.

 Candidate must have proven HVAC sale experience.

 Must be customer driven and Company minded with strong sales, marketing, and interpersonal skills.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
 Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, and MS Office (Word and Excel, including communication tools and software such as Outlook.

 Ability to sense and relate observations to business opportunity.

 Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public.

 Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral.

 Ability to work independently.

 Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization.
