Position Summary:
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing one or multiple initiatives for IIN’s marketing technology efforts and/or student facing initiatives.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will:
- With the PMO, anticipate the impact of scope and schedule changes on IINâs strategic portfolio
- Support the project management center of excellence standards
- Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and business requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with other company departments to ensure goals are clearly defined and are met
- Lead and coordinate implementation projects across internal development teams and external vendors
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements and own the implementation technical plan and schedule
- Work with technical resources to implement solutions
- Plan, monitor, and track the status and quality of implementation tasks
- Manage full cycle of implementation, deployment and integration projects
- Partner with internal resources in order to advance the integration through its phases
- Track and communicate risks and manage stakeholder expectations
- Train and coach developers, product managers, QA, and executives on Agile processes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5+ years of experience managing technology projects in fast paced environments
- Expert at managing and tracking Agile implementation projects (Scrum and Kanban)
- 3+ years of experience with marketing technology (CMS, eCommerce, marketing platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Drupal or others)
- Experience in education is a major plus
- Experience working with off-shore teams
- Highly influential, willing to speak up and clearly communicate
- Flexible with a desire to make an impact
- Self-motivated and a team player that works wells with individuals and thrives in a dynamic environment
Licenses/Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, preferred
- Scrum Product Owner Certification, preferred
