Job Responsibilities:
o Design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of project types, including new construction and renovation.
o Design of structural steel connections.
o Communicate effectively with client, and internal project team, sub consultants and contractors.
o Assist in the development of project proposals, budgets, cost standards and schedules.
o Accurately produce project construction documents to meet milestone schedules within budgets.
o Manage a multi-project workload as well as oversee the design work of other engineers and designers.
o Leads, mentors, and encourages development of Designer level staff on all of their responsibilities as well as coordinate with other disciplines on projects
o Responsible for meeting firm’s structural engineering quality levels on assigned projects
o Work with Engineers and Designers to prepare new drawings, modify existing drawings or create as-built documents.
o Provide technical support for customers and support regional business development initiatives as a technical resource.
o Promote the reputation of the company through the technical quality of his/her work.
o Represent us professionally at all project related meetings and inspections.
Job Requirements:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
o PE License in PA required.
o Proficiency with RAM Structural, RISA 3D, Enercalc and similar engineering software
o Proficiency with Autocad & Revit is a plus.
o Minimum of six (6) years as a Structural Engineer with significant project management responsibilities.
