The Regional Vice President (RVP) in the Midwest is responsible for the general management and oversight of operations within a geographic region. This position has full P&L responsibility, provides strategic and tactical leadership, coaching and direction to field management and Team Members. Additionally, the RVP identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities, monitors regional performance, and works closely with the Senior Vice President of Stores to develop competitive strategies in alignment with the company’s mission and values. Talent development and performance management are central to this role.
- Management and leadership of roughly 10 field managers, including Area Directors and District Managers, to support their success.
- Professional sales management
- Regularly observes and coaches Team Members to ensure optimal performance and execution of critical business objectives.
- Maintain intimacy with the company’s key performance indicators and respond accordingly. Develop and execute business plans, balancing short, medium and long-term goals to drive sales to provide a superior patient and Team Member experience
- Communicate regularly with all HearingLife support functions, serving as a helpful resource between the field and support center.
- Contribute to the annual budget process, including sales, labor, expenses and overall P&L. Hires, trains and leads team to deliver budget.
- Ensure compliance and privacy standards are consistently upheld to medical environment standards.
- Develops direct reports and mentors Team Members to meet their potential; frequently visiting stores and traveling with managers. Attracts and identifies top talent for continued growth. Performs regular supervisory functions in accordance with company policy.
- Increase field manager proficiency with, and execution of, our clinic playbook, “All the Right Things.”
- Coordinate with the HearingLife Support Center on sales and operational excellence, new acquisitions and relevant projects.
- 10 years of sales management experience in a retail, medical or comparable environment, 5 years at the multi-unit level
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, team building and planning skills
- Confidentiality; critical thinking and reasoning skills; judgement; teamwork
- Capable of managing contradiction and ambiguity
- Financially savvy and disciplined, effectively managing the bottom half of the P&L
- Ability to work independently, with ambition and bias for action; results-oriented
- Strong functional ability w/ Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must reside in Ohio or Pennsylvania
This position requires frequent travel, more than 80%.
