The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to ensure that the implementation objectives are being met successfully in a timely manner within budget. The Project Manager coordinates Management Information Systems (MIS) projects related to nursing, physicians, finance and ancillary departments within the System. This individual utilizes knowledge of health care, hospital and ancillary services to plan, recommend, implement and support computer based systems which are consistent with the efficient and effective goals of the health care system.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, health care field or experience can be substituted for education as defined below.

At least five (5) years experience in the field required. Experience using microcomputers and microcomputer applications is helpful. Siemans Soarian experience preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and strong organizational skills are necessary. Must have comprehensive knowledge of documentation, organization, direction and implementation practices. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
