Project Manager-Civil

Gregory Construction, an industry recognized, award winning construction company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to help lead the site/civil team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and experience working with the local agencies. The primary responsibility of this role is management of multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Must be able to properly analyze plans and specifications to organize a project from bidding to completion
- Work with sub-contractors on quotes for projects that meet the specification documents and issue proper purchase orders
- Quality control for projects from planning phase to completion to include overall budget, scheduling, forecasting, change orders, and performance
- Overall budgeting, scheduling, and constant tracking of projects
- Provide unit pricing for material and labor costs
- Itemize trade specific scopes and formulate bid packages
- Quality Conscious with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to details.
- Attend pre-bid walk- thru’s and contractor meetings.
Education and/or Experience:
- College Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or minimum 5+ years construction estimating
- Working knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures
- Must have heavy civil and concrete experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Experience in Civil Site Planning & Land Development (Retail, Commercial, Multi-Family & Industrial) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Some travel required will be required with this position.
