The Project Manager coordinates and drives projects to completion by adept coordination of teams. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects within the specified dates, establishing and maintaining a professional and satisfactory relationship with stakeholders, and delivering results in agreement with Company values. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead multiple and complex projects in a cross-functional environment and delivering significant business results. This is a full-time position reporting to the COO and based in beautiful Sisters, OR.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage projects in accordance with established resource allocation and budget.
- Effectively lead cross-functional project teams (R&D, Quality Assurance, Design, Production, etc.) to deliver projects within set standards
- Develop and meet project timelines and budgets, ensuring formal project approval processes and other quality control guidelines are followed
- Refine and manage existing project management flow and plan
- Communicate and manage risks and opportunities of projects and drive problem solving activities
- Provide regular project updates to the COO regarding completion status, decisions, and emerging risks and issues
- Foster relationships and successfully influence Department Managers toward agreed upon goals
- Promote an atmosphere of high-performing teams, mentoring and craft team motivated spirit.
Requirements:
- Bachelorâs Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in Project Management; PMP certification and experience in consumer packaged goods industry a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in effectively leading multidisciplinary teams
- Broad experience with Project Management software; Smartsheet experience a huge plus
- Highly motivated, self-directed, energetic and positive.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and overcome challenges while working creatively and collaboratively to set strategies and achieve objectives
- Excellent oral, written, listening, and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
