Job Summary: Responsible for multiple types of TechOps Investigations (e.g., CASS reported items, suspected non-compliance events, Human Factors events, Part 121/145 Customer concerns, ODI events as requested, etc.). Liaison with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and other regulatory agencies as necessary. Responsible for Investigation and subsequent determination of root cause. Coordination with various TechOps business units to formulate and implement corrective actions to mitigate future findings. Written summaries of Investigations to senior leaders are also required. This position will require interaction with Maintenance Management, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and other TechOps departments, including Corporate Safety & Compliance, Flight Operations, Legal, and Airport Customer Service. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
