JOB TITLE: Program Manager/Director

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

Position Status: Full-time salaried exempt employee at 40 hours/week

Program Manager/Director:

  • Maintain trauma-informed, supportive environment for staff and youth
  • Oversee safe, effective program operations for the shelter and transitional living program
  • Ensure provision of basic services, meals, recreation, and educational services, in an emotionally and physically safe, clean, and supportive atmosphere

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED and 2 years of relevant experience in a human services related field OR Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field of study and 1 year of relevant experience in a human services related field
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • At least 3 years of management and administrative experience
  • Possess the physical, emotional, and mental capacity to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of infants, toddlers, children and/or youth pursuant to these regulations.
  • Possess the management and administrative ability to monitor and report to the Director that requirements of all applicable regulations are fulfilled.

Program Manager/Director Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support case managers, and quality control manager, including weekly staff meetings and monthly reflective supervision
  • Oversee training of new employees
  • Lead weekly staff meetings with case managers and attend management team meetings
  • Ensure program environments operate safely, including review of incidents, follow-up, hearing complaints/grievances
  • Monitor and maintain consistency, fairness, and clarity when executing program guidelines and expectations
  • Maintain/ Review budgets for programs and communicate with programs
  • HR for Dream Tree Project and Ziggy employee’s
  • Manage program crises as they arise
  • Carry on-call cell phone for one week in rotation with other regular staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 to $32.00 /hour
