Position Summary
To provide leadership, direction, and guidance of division sales activity to enhance shareholder value, in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors and procedures established by the management of the bank. Represents the company in community/economic development activities and initiatives. Ensures company visibility in all aspects of the community. Manages relationships with business banking clients by providing service and support.
Position Accountabilities:
- Formulate, supervise and implement the annual Commercial and Retail Sales business plans for the division consistent with the goals and objectives of the bank, in conjunction with the Holding Company President.
- Ensure that an ongoing evaluation system is in place related to the goals and objectives set forth in the Commercial and Retail Sales business plan and report monthly on the progress of such to the Holding Company President.
- Apprise management of recommendations that will enable the goals and objectives of his business plan to be carried out.
- Provide training, motivation and evaluation to staff in conjunction with the Human Resources Department of the bank. Recommend compensation adjustments to staff consistent with the bankâs compensation plan.
- Delegate duties and responsibilities consistent with their goals and objectives, allowing achievement of those goals and objectives.
- Represent the bank in a professional, ethical, and moral manner to promote the institution in the communities it serves. Take an active role in key civic and community events/organizations and encourage similar involvement from the officer staff of the division.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Serve on committees of the bank as requested by the President of the Holding Company.
Position Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Management.
- 10 years direct Banking experience.
- Proven business development skills.
