- As a Distribution Services Executive Team Member, this role will represent areas of responsibility as it relates to organizational strategies, communication, reporting and business execution. Participate in creation and realization of business strategies supporting safety, service levels and performance efficiency goals across the division including F&B and merchandise warehouse & distribution operations. Work with executive team and cross-functional partners to develop, justify and administer appropriate financial, capacity, equipment, staffing, systems support and business continuity plans.
- As the Manager, Operational Improvement, this role supports the Walt Disney World Distribution Services warehousing and cargo transportation business with robust business intelligence and program integration to optimize safety, accuracy and efficiency in the complex logistics operation. Oversee the research, project planning, implementation and benefits for logistics systems upgrades/enhancements, innovation projects, business intelligence report development, performance excellence metrics/programs and continuous improvement efforts. Drive innovation and implement new industry technologies where applicable.
- As the Manager, Transportation, the role provides effective leadership for the Distribution Services Delivery organization, a team of salaried leaders, Planned Work Specialists, commercial truck drivers, mail couriers, and support personnel that transport food & beverage, retail merchandise and general commodity products destined primarily to the Walt Disney Parks, Resorts and Cruise Line locations. Ensure compliance with operating guidelines, regulations and local Union contract. Administer Cast Safety programs that meet Department of Transportation, OSHA and Disney Safety and Wellness requirements and goals. Achieve service level commitments across a 24 x 7 x 365 operational schedule. Engage with Cast and clients to maintain safe and efficient delivery areas/processes. Develop and execute Delivery budgeting/capital investment plans and variance explanations. Justify technology initiatives and lead the change management for deployment and benefits realization. Establish the annual departmental strategy plan and achieve the safety/service/cost/productivity targets. Use inclusive approach to understand dynamic business and operational activities, identifying areas of opportunity for continuous improvement and implementing those improvements with a sense of urgency. Actively support the business in times of emergency, such as on-site hurricane preparation, ride-out crew and recovery-to-normal activities.

- Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act regulations regarding commercial drivers and associated equipment
- Experience leading in a Union environment and participating in grievance/arbitration hearings
- Full schedule availability and willingness to change shifts/days off
- Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen training and proficiency
- Bi-lingual in Spanish
