ESSENTIAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Will provide courteous customer service to the end user community all times, either in person or over the phone.
  • Perform systems administrator functions, normal user/computer account operations in AD, including creating user profiles and accounts, setup access rights.
  • Setup, maintain, and/or delete user accounts in a cloud-based environment using Administrator and/or Control Panel access provided by the vendor. Setup and monitor user access rights to data.
  • Provide administration, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of hosted Email system in a cloud-based environment; including creating and/or deleting mailboxes and distribution lists.
  • Provide administration, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of hosted company SharePoint portal in a cloud-based environment, including create user accounts and setup and monitor user access rights to data.
  • Perform Windows 10 security updates on servers and workstations.
  • Install and update anti-virus software on servers and workstations.
  • Provide end-user support for cloud-based applications including Office 365, Adobe Acrobat DC and Reader.
  • Provide administration, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of MS Windows 2016 servers, including Active Directory, and Hyper-V.
  • Administer and maintain local multi-function printers and multi-function network-based copiers (copy, print, & scan-to-folder features; add and remove user accounts.).
  • Coordinate access and support web-based financial accounts (CostPoint, ADP, etc.) and manage legacy data repositories.
  • Set up and maintain corporate telecommunications/conferencing systems including phone systems, cell phone accounts and other mobile devices
  • Maintain corporate website and create cohesiveness across all company supporting media outlets (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Contact vendors when necessary to troubleshoot and repair equipment; i.e., phone systems, copiers, conferencing software.
  • Coordinate with FSO to maintain system compliance with Cyber Security and IT related government regulations.
  • Set up administrator accounts, maintain system documentation, install software and allocate mass storage space.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in MIS technology and remain technically proficient at all levels of data processing while striving for enhanced user productivity through implementation of new software technology where applicable, and the implementation of policies that more effectively utilize MIS resources.
  • Develop processes to monitor all IT related projects or functions for the client community and report status on a regular basis to allow clients to gauge effectiveness.
  • Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions, in accordance with recommendations or specifications.
  • Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
  • Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
  • Develops and monitors policies and procedures related to the use of computing resources.
  • Follow policies and procedures as described in corporate manuals and directives.
  • Attend work each day during scheduled work hours unless on approved travel or time off.
  • Work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  • Carry out other duties as may be assigned or requested.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • 10% of travel maybe required.
  • Work is performed indoors with some potential risks to safety and health hazards related to electronics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:

  • Must be experienced with hosted Cloud based applications (Outlook 365; Adobe, etc.)
  • Possess documented MCSA-Certification (Windows Server 2016) or Bachelors in Information Technology and Information Systems. If no certification or degree must have a minimum of five (5) years general experience in providing Network Infrastructure and System Administration support; and two (2) years of specific experience in performing the duties as listed above under the heading “General Functions”.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Must possess sound analytical skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a variety of users having different levels of computer expertise. Ability to resolve end user problems in a timely manner.
  • Skill in identifying and monitoring potential operational malfunctions and programming errors.
  • Skill in installing and maintaining computer hardware and software.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other technical staff, customers, and users.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to uncertainty and constant changes in technology.
  • Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Physical Skills And Abilities:

  • May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
