Required Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Six years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources and at least three years specific to HR management which includes project management and policy development and interpretation.
  • Proficient experience with a broad range of technology solutions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of federal and state laws, including DOL and IRS rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of best practices in higher education.
  • Skill in data acquisition, analysis, and data management.
  • Skill in policy administration, development and interpretation are required applications.
  • Skill in consulting practices, processes and relationship management to include business acumen and ethical practice
  • Skill in written communication to executive and subject matter experts.
  • Intermediate level skill in Excel including creating formulas, charts, and reports.
  • Skill in collaborating with multiple constituents.
  • Skill in decision-making and problem solving.
  • Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of detailed information into charts, graphs and key points.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in alignment with the priorities of the organization.
  • Ability to respond diplomatically to sensitive and critical issues.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task.
Desired Qualifications:

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Certified in project management
  • Certified PHR/SPHR, and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
