Head of Professional Services

Heap’s mission is to power business decisions with truth. We’re building infrastructure to automatically capture customer interactions, make sense of them, and make them actionable for anyone. We want to enable everyone to understand their millionth customer as well as they understood their first.

Heap is looking for a Head of Professional Services (PS) to help our customers win (one our our core values!). You will inherit a team of four and help build the PS organization into a global, scalable offering for our customers. Along with the team, you will build out a variety of PS packages and work cross-functionally to best position PS to our customers.

At Heap, this means you will:

• Build a world-class organization. In addition to inheriting a team of 4 highly talented PS members, you will manage hiring and building a global organization.
• Create PS offerings. We currently have limited PS offerings for our customers. You will identify different PS opportunities to help our customers continue to find value with the Heap product and work internally to evangelize new PS packages for our customers.
• Work cross-functionally. Building a world-class PS offering will require a lot of strategic work with both EPD (Engineering, Product, Design) and our Sales teams. Being able to navigate the organization and bring teams together is critical to success.
• Take ownership over P&L. You will essentially be running a “startup within a startup”. You will own P&L for the entire PS organization.

What we’re looking for:

• 2-3+ years of experience managing a global organization
• 7+ years of experience in customer-facing role
• Experience building value added services at a pre-IPO company
• Experience owning P&L for professional services organization
• (Nice to have) Experience working within the analytics space
