A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

This role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of marketing activities to achieve the financial and strategic objectives set by the business and the portfolio marketers, including brand, demand and content marketing, marketing operations, campaign alignment, partnerships, budget management and tracking return on marketing investment.

This senior leadership position is required to understand changing market dynamics, translate them into actionable strategy and implement the strategy to achieve objectives in the marketing plan.

This role is responsible for the development and measurement of targeted marketing campaigns that drive business growth across the entire portfolio of offerings. This role oversees the generation and deployment of market and customer insights that inform business decisions and marketing briefs, and works closely with the Business Units Portfolio Managers and the Product Team to inform product enhancement and bring new and improved services to the market. It also collaborates closely with the Regional Marketing Teams to address local requirements while bringing consistency to Marketing execution across-regions.

Deliver the Marketing annual plans:

  • Lead the internal processes with creative development and campaigns
  • Produce content for digital campaigns globally and specific market needs
  • Produce content for key channels to drive leads and generate awareness of CPU solutions
  • Construct specific market campaigns in line with the business strategy
  • Build the future pipeline for traffic and leads
Build, develop and inspire an effective Marketing team to drive category performance:
  • Provide effective cross-functional and cross-border leadership and coordination
Optimize the Digital Marketing strategy:
  • Web and mobile development
  • SEO/SEM/PPC optimization
Own the Computershare Brand:
  • Monitor our brand positioning, in line with business vision and competitive landscape
  • Update brand positioning across all channels to keep it relevant and competitive
Regional strategy development and delivery
  • Work with Regional Marketing to pull together individual strategies and plans
  • Keep abreast of how Regional teams progress against key milestones, and motivate and influence them to take corrective measures if required
Partner with the Heads of Portfolio to shape upstream BU product development:
  • Provide commercial input into new product development process, based on market insights, consumer behaviours and competitive context
Measures:
  • Overall business performance: revenue, growth, ROI, market share
  • Return on marketing investment
  • Discrete marketing targets aligned to company strategy
  • Timely delivery of market and customer insights (Voc, etc)
  • Timely and on budget delivery of marketing campaigns toolkit that are >70% fit for execution into our 4 regions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Considerable experience of senior management within a dynamic matrix organisation, ideally in both a a B2B marketing environment and a consumer marketing environment.
  • Experience of working across differing global markets, and business units
  • Strong administrative and management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs and objectives
  • Strong background in digital marketing channels: CRM, web, social and search
  • Track record in leading a market and customer intelligence team
  • Deep understanding of Brand (core identity, brand elements and applications) across marketing channels
  • Extensive expertise in all aspects of go-to-market strategy for products, solutions, industries and services
  • Organizational design, development and growth strategies for global marketing organizations
  • Understanding of Computershare’s key industries and market segments relevant to the organization
  • Ability to adapt approach and style to different Markets as appropriate being sensitive to language and cultural differences.
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate others at all levels within a highly matrixed environment
  • Resilient – ability to overcome obstacles and see through plans.
Dimensions impacted by role:
The role holder will have line management responsibility for specialized centres of excellence teams across the global business, comprised of a staff of 50+ located across multiple geographic regions and time zones.

Education and Experience

  • Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or college/university degree
