YOUR ROLE

– Mobilize, Organize and Lead Project teams to ensure that Kuehne + Nagel delivers sold services to Corporate Partners accounts as promised – Ensure consistent, risk minimized, and faultless implementations for Corporate Partners – Program Manager for global / strategic and/or multi-BU Corporate Partners Implementations


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Select and mobilize the project team based on assigned project with particular care on on-boarding all the required skills and talents for the project success
  • Deal with local and global management to ensure adequacy of resources for the project
  • Manage the project team tasks and responsibilities and keep relation with project sponsor
  • Ensure prompt and regular communication to internal / external stakeholders such as client meetings, weekly project updates and informal communication as needed
  • Keep track in a structured, constantly up to date way of project status and open issues and ensure alignment between all project tasks and their timelines
  • Create and maintain project documentation such as project charter, open issues list etc.
  • Ensure the project gates are successfully met on time
  • Timely tackle potential risky situations anticipating issues and bringing in support, mitigating effects and escalating promptly
  • Support the presentation of project management methodology and capabilities internally and externally as needed
  • Support Solution Design and ensure is in line with what promised.
  • Contribute to constant improvement of tools and methodology based on experience
  • Keep track of projects in Clarity, according to the defined team way of working
  • Qualify demand


YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • At least 5 years with strong Sea, Air, Road operations exposure
  • Supply Chain Management processes knowledge
  • Project management experience
  • Perfect English skills
  • Preferred: Project Management education (eg. Be-GCIM, Prince2 etc.)
  • Preferred: Process mapping and re-engineering (Six sigma or alike preferred)
  • Preferred: Business Administrations basics including basic financial knowledge
  • Preferred: Business Development in supply chain management services and solutions consulting
