Northwest Lineman College (NLC) is seeking a team leader and recruitment expert to ensure NLC continues to attract and hire the best people for all current and future positions. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, mastery of HR technology, an eye for talent, and the ability to successfully manage competing priorities while maximizing efficiency and effectiveness. The person in this position will be a champion of NLC’s talent brand and culture, and set the tone for an exceptional candidate and onboarding experience. This position will be instrumental to the success of organization and will be trusted to ensure NLC is able to hire the right people, with the right skills, in the right positions, at the right time. Reports to Chief Culture & People Officer.

What you’ll be doing:
- Recruiting executive-level positions
- Building a database of potentially qualified, interested, and available talent for key strategic roles
- Maintaining a long-term communication strategy based on the principles of market segmentation
- Understanding and leveraging the internal pipeline of competencies that allow NLC to redeploy talent most effectively to deliver business results
- Managing the talent acquisition strategy and overall recruitment process for the organization.
- Guiding the talent acquisition team in developing, implementing and measuring cost-effective talent attraction and selection plans including, but not limited to advertising, targeted recruitment campaigns, diversity and inclusion efforts, and other national recruiting initiatives.
- Leading the overall design, development and execution of talent sourcing strategies to ensure job openings are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Coaching the team on effective strategies for sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, influencing and educating hiring managers on talent selection best practices and providing offers that get results.
- Building and maintaining high levels of trust with hiring managers and senior leadership by serving as a talent advisor and strategic partner on workforce planning and stabilization efforts.
- Providing leadership to the talent acquisition team and a bias toward action for streamlining and improving processes and delivering results.
- Leading the collection and reporting of workforce data and analytics to inform business decisions, measure financial impact and prioritize critical talent recruitment needs.
- Managing the talent acquisition budget, vendor relationships and all associated recruiting and onboarding expenses.
- Ensuring that the talent acquisition function meets NLC’s business needs.
- Committing to continual self-improvement and lifelong learning; and ensuring the success of other Eagles and the organization, in accordance with NLC’s values.
The experience needed for this position includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or an additional two (2) years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in talent acquisition
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and positively influence others
- Experience using and optimizing multiple Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Experience in executive-level recruitment
- Master’s degree preferred
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Talent acquisition certification preferred
