Position: Director of Operations
Job Summary:
The Director of Operations is responsible for the efficient and effective operations of all Green Valley Grocery stores.
The Director of Operations is responsible for leading a team of leaders who will ensure an exceptional customer service experience for all clients. The incumbent build strong relationships and collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Company maintains its leadership position in the industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient and effective 24/7 operations of multi-site Green Valley Grocery stores, including: Retail operations; Car Wash Operations; Store Maintenance.
- Partner with Crawford Oil and Crawford Coin leadership to ensure efficient and effective operations of all fuel and coin functions throughout all Green Valley Grocery stores.
- Collaborate with internal leaders, including Finance, Marketing, HR, Risk Management and Information Technology, to drive optimal business results.
- Build strong external business relationships including: Vendors; Community and political leaders; Insurance providers; Legal counsel.
- Hire, train, coach, lead, develop and mentor district managers and store managers in alignment with Company programs and processes.
- Drive exceptional customer service through district managers and store managers.
- Analyze financial data, identify opportunities and execute operational processes to ensure optimal financial results across all stores.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, workerâs compensation and casualty programs and processes.
- Provide leadership for and execute a strong maintenance program to ensure a safe, pleasant and effective environment for customers and employees.
- Provide input, as appropriate, for new site selection.
- Actively participate to ensure new store openings in alignment with established timelines and budgets.
- Any other duties as assigned by Company Management.
Experience and Education:
Required:
- At least 8 years previous leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Previous multi-site experience in a similar retail setting;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Essential Physical Requirements:
- Frequent local travel by car;
- Some national travel by air;
- Must be able to sit/stand up for up to a full 8-hour shift, in the performance of the position ;
- Must be able to work around various fumes, odors, chemical agents, and solvents;
- Must be able to work as a senior leader with limited supervision under stressful conditions;
- Must be able to use a desk top and lap top computer as well as mobile and desk phone to accomplish duties;
- Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 /year
