Ophthalmology Practice in Winston Salem interviewing for a Practice Administrator. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience and a working knowledge of accounting. Must possess a great attitude and personality for working with physicians, staff, vendors. The person in this position is responsible for implementing the clinicâs mission and strategic vision. Provides leadership in developing, planning, and implementing the clinicâs business plans. Oversees the business and financial affairs of the clinic and fiscal management in conjunction with the practice CPA. Recommends, develops, implements improvements for the practice, Oversees efforts for recruitment, development, performance evaluation of employees. Handles the accounts payables for the practice. Continually monitors operations, programs, physical properties. Initiates appropriate changes.
Responsible for managing the overall marketing activities of the practice.
Represents the clinic in its relationships with other health organizations, government agencies, and third party payers.
Construction and management of a surgery center will be required.
Manages all practice managed care relationships, including monitoring of related reimbursements, negotiation with third party payers, provider credentialing, and maintenance of contracts.
Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere. Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments.
