Duties & Responsibilities
Supervises the Office of Academic Programs personnel
Manages all aspects of the curriculum approval process, including the Academic Leadership Council, Campus CASSC, College CASSC, BOT, financial aid, academic requirements, Statewide Course Numbering System, State Board of Education, and SACSCOC Communicates in a timely and effective manner with academic leadership, including vice/associate provosts, deans and department chairs on curricular matters Ensures the timely and accurate dissemination of curricular actions to internal and external stakeholders to ensure all approvals of the curriculum development cycles are completed Maintains current and accurate records of all curriculum actions and provides reports to the provost and academic leadership Troubleshoots curricular issues across Campus Solutions functional areas to ensure programs/courses are operational
Manages the college wide process for cyclical updates to the College Catalog
Resolves complex issues, which affect the curriculum
Prepares and maintains budgets and maintains accurate records of expenditures
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree and four (4) years of administrative or comparable experience; or Bachelor’s Degree and eight (8) years of related experience
All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals, and objectives, and policies and procedures Knowledge of college educational philosophy and top management administrative practices and procedures Leadership skills and abilities to chair and organize faculty/administrative committees Possesses excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Proficiency in supervision and management skills Knowledge and familiarity with relevant information systems, databases, and software applications Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Knowledge of federal, state and college policies and procedures Ability to think creatively to resolve issues and overcome every challenges
Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evenings and weekends
